Transfer fee: $10,000 per territory, typically paid by the buyer per the LOI template, negotiable. Territories can be packaged in other configurations; 3 territories minimum.
Owner is relocating out of state.
This is a home-based model with storage, so there is no retail lease or built-out facility to carry.
What is included: exclusive Top Rail Fence rights across 3 Mid-Cities territories, the brand with organic lead flow (5 to 10 leads a week across DFW with no advertising), the past-customer contacts in your territories (3,300+ across all 12), introductions to our subcontractors and DFW suppliers (net 30 terms with $100K credit), HomeFront national pricing that beats opening a new supplier account, SOPs covering permits, inspector contacts, estimating and work orders, an estimating data warehouse for fast quotes, sales playbooks and CRM templates, and a remote handoff from the current owner. A work truck can be included as an option.
What is not included: staff, customer contracts, or historical revenue. The low fixed-cost structure lets a new owner stand up operations without the overhead of a storefront.
A buyer is expected to receive Top Rail Fence and HomeFront Brands onboarding and training in line with the brand's standard franchise transfer process, including operating systems, sales and marketing support, quoting and measurement tools, and category-specific playbooks. Vendor relationships and national buying power carry through the brand.
Adding the neighboring Dallas-Fort Worth packages is the most direct lever, with the option to build up to all 12 territories under one owner. Beyond that, a new owner can pursue HOA property managers and commercial construction partners for steady project pipelines, develop agricultural and land-use fencing work across the metro, and capture ongoing new construction and replacement demand driven by DFW population and construction growth.
