LearningRx | Trained Team, Recurring Revenue
Skip the years of building a brain-training center from scratch and take over one with a trained team and processes, a robust base of referring clients, and families already on the schedule. This LearningRx franchise in Brookfield, Wisconsin, has operated since 2012. Its one-on-one programs help kids and adults strengthen their cognitive skills, which improves how they focus, read, and think. Revenue is primarily recurring, built on multi-month training programs and strong referral relationships that feed a steady stream of new families. A staff of 3 full-time and 11 part-time team members handles assessments, training, and administration. The owner is retiring and will support a smooth handoff. Highlights include: This may suit a hands-on owner-operator, an existing LearningRx franchisee expanding in the region, or an education-minded entrepreneur who values both results and community impact.
Owner is exploring other business ventures.
The center occupies interior office space inside a bank building on a major commercial boulevard in Brookfield, Wisconsin, with easy access from main streets and the highway and retail and grocery within blocks. The space is leased under a cost-efficient gross lease that includes utilities and services, and the lease is assignable with a flexible landlord. All furniture, fixtures, and equipment used to run the business transfer with the sale, including the training and assessment setup and technology the team uses day to day. The footprint is compact and efficient, which keeps occupancy costs low.
The franchisor provides extensive onboarding, beginning with a 1-week intensive training and a defined support protocol through a new owner's first year. The current owners are willing to provide support after the sale, based on the buyer's needs, to ensure a successful transition. The existing team is positioned to keep operations running smoothly throughout the handoff. Standard franchise transfer applies, including franchisor approval and a transfer fee. A new owner should expect to complete the brand's standard training before taking the lead.
The strongest lever is a second location in a new LearningRx territory, either on the North Shore or in Milwaukee County, staffed with trainers while administration stays centralized in Brookfield. A second lever is deepening networking with private psychologists and other professional referral sources to broaden the private-pay pipeline. Beyond that, a more active owner could add training capacity and introduce booster and follow-on programs for graduating families, converting existing relationships into repeat engagements.
